Caring and compassionate volunteers sought to provide emotional first aid and practical support at trauma scenes through the Trauma Intervention Program (TIP) of Orange County. Called by police, fire and hospital ER personnel, TIP volunteers respond to scenes of a sudden death or other traumatic incidents.
The Volunteer Training Academy, offered twice a year, gives folks the skills needed to provide emotional and practical support to victims and their families during the first few hours following a tragedy.
No experience is necessary, but completion of academy is required. Click here for more information about how you can make a difference in the lives of others.
