Citizen and Youth of the Year

Rebecca Steele

2018 Citizen of the Year

Becky Steele has been a member of the City of Aliso Viejo’s volunteer program since 2002. She has worked just about every City event and volunteered many additional hours at City Hall filling in as receptionist and for Community Services mailing projects, pre-event preparation and data entry. She led the stretching before our Walk with the Mayor events. Last year alone, Becky donated 180 hours to our City.  At the same time, Becky has volunteered for the SoCal Council on Aging (received award for 2017 Friendly Visitor Program Volunteer of the Year). She is also a volunteer balance coach for the national A Matter of Balance falls prevention program for seniors.

Becky’s unwavering dedication to volunteerism and the citizens of Aliso Viejo is certainly unsurpassed.
