Motorists can expect road closures in Aliso Viejo on May 29 for the Laguna Hills Memorial Day Half Marathon, 5K and 10K event.
The event starts in front of Saddleback Memorial Medical Center and ends at the Laguna Hills Community Center on Alicia Parkway. Road closures will begin around 6 a.m. and last until about 10 a.m. or after runners pass through the course. The race heads southwest on Paseo De Valencia to Alicia Parkway and continues toward Aliso Creek Road.
Here’s a list of the closures:
* Aliso Creek Road both directions closed 6-10 a.m. from Wood Canyon to Alicia Parkway
* Wood Canyon northbound closed 6-10 a.m. from Knollwood to Aliso Creek Road
* Knollwood both directions closed 6-10:30 a.m. from Wood Canyon to AWMA Road
* Pacific Park Drive in both directions closed 6-10 a.m. Alicia Parkway to Woodfield
To accommodate motorists, the Transportation Corridor Agencies waived toll road fees at the Aliso Creek on-ramp southbound direction from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
