Southern California Edison (SCE) plans a series of power outages in Aliso Viejo between July 23-29 to perform routine maintenance. Residents with questions are encouraged to call 1-800-611-1911 and speak with SCE directly.
The outages will affect different parts of the City including the areas of Glenwood/Cedarbrook; Calle Aragon/Moulton; Windsong/Aliso Creek; Tradewinds/Willow Wind; Summerfield; Colony Way; Blackbird/Aliso Creek; and Pursuit/Lyon Ridge.
Residents should receive mailers from the utility informing them of the plan.
Here are the estimated time periods of the planned outages:
* Monday, July 23: two outages (reference numbers 899934 and 899971) between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
* Tuesday, July 24: two outages (reference numbers 900146 and 899946) between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
* Wednesday, July 25: two outages (numbers 900221 and 900001) between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
SCE said the power may be off for the whole period or turned off more than once. This planned outage may not begin exactly at the stated start time, and some conditions may cause the outage to be postponed. The times noted are estimated and circumstances may affect both the start and completion times.
