Members of City’s adopted Marines will celebrate July 4th in Aliso Viejo

Marines from the City’s “adopted” 1st Maintenance Battalion will celebrate our country’s independence during the Aliso Viejo Community Association’s July 4th bash at Grand Park.
Several Marines will assist with the annual festivities that take place from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and include children’s arts and crafts, face painting, community booths, bounce houses, live entertainment and a spectacular low-level fireworks show.
The City Council in February adopted the Camp Pendleton-based 1st Maintenance Battalion, which is a decorated and integral component of our nation’s military readiness. This will be the first of many community events the battalion will take part in.
