Council will certify election results on Dec. 12

The City Council on Wednesday, Dec. 12 will certify the election results and select a new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem for 2019.
According to the “unofficial” election results from the Orange County Registrar of Voters, Aliso Viejo voters re-elected Dave Harrington and elected Tiffany Ackley to serve four-year terms. They will take the Oath of Office during the Dec. 12 meeting.

Council Member Phil Tsunoda, who did not seek re-election, will be honored for his longtime service to the community at the meeting of Dec. 5.

The City Council normally meets at 7 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Nov. 21 meeting is canceled.
