Beat the heat at Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center

If you are looking for a fun way to beat the heat, head to the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center.

Overlooking the golf course at 29 Santa Barbara Drive, the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center features recreation and lap swimming, swim lessons, a snack bar and more. There are two pools, a splash pad and popular toddler wading area.

Since summer began, the facility has seen an influx of patrons of all ages enjoying daily lap swimming, recreational swim and specialty programs such as aqua aerobics and the swim team.

Of course when attending the Aquatic Center or while enjoying any outdoor facility, be sure to wear sunscreen and take these precautions to protect your skin. Parents with kids age 3 and under should also remember to dress their children in a disposable water diaper with a vinyl diaper cover on top to prevent any accidents in the pool. The reusable vinyl diapers are available at most major stores including Target and can be purchased at the Aquatic Center for $11 (plus tax).
The Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center is located off Golf Drive and Glenwood. Cost for Aliso Viejo residents is $5 adults; $3 children and $2 seniors. Annual, seasonal, monthly and daily passes are available.
