Aliso Viejo teens can win $10K for their school through video contest

Aliso Viejo students are invited to submit short videos about teens who embrace drug-free lifestyles for the chance to win $10,000 for their school.

Kids From The Other Side (KFTOS) is calling on students to submit 3- to 15-minute videos for its 1st Annual Student Video Contest.  The deadline to enter is May 3. The prize money – $10,000, $6,000 and $4,000 –  for first, second and third place will benefit the winners’ schools.

KFTOS was founded by Dr. Daniel Headrick, the former medical director of Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach.  The Other Side is a new approach to inspiring youth to make their teen years drug and alcohol free.

Winners will be announced at the 1st annual KFTOS Gala and video screening on May 31 at Cineopolis in Laguna Niguel.
