Construction is slated to begin November 5 in the Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park to install erosion and sediment-control measures as a preventative effort to protect slopes that were burned by the Aliso Fire from erosion. The work by OC Public Works and OC Parks will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at fire-burned areas near Coyote Run Trail, Dripping Cave Trail, Mathis Trail and various fire access dozer roads. Construction will take place off the recreational trails, but park roads and trails will be used for equipment hauling. The project is expected to be finished late December.
