New eatery already giving back to Aliso Viejo

Since opening its doors in the Aliso Viejo Town Center on December 1, Raising Cane’s has been satisfying palates from near and far with its fried chicken tenders.

Along with those “never-frozen” chicken tenders, the Louisiana-based chain sells Southern sides such as coleslaw and French fries.

Founded by Todd Graves in 1996, Raising Cane’s is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year after opening more than 250 stores across 20 states. Aliso Viejo is its second Orange County location.

“Aliso Viejo was chosen as one of the top cities in Orange County, and Aliso Viejo Town Center was selected as a great location to be part of an amazing community in which Cane’s could really get involved in and make a difference,” said marketing advisor Mica Brandt.

Raising Cane’s has already given back to this community by donating enough food to feed 100 volunteers that staffed the City’s Snow Fest event on January 23.

“From day 1, Todd’s vision of giving back to the community has continued to evolve to the point of being able to give back more than $12 million in 2014 to the local communities,” Brandt said. “The quick-service restaurant industry is very saturated with competition, so our standards must be kept high in order to succeed against all of our competition.”

Raising Cane’s is located at 26801 Aliso Creek Road. For more information, call 949-448-0241 or visit http://www.raisingcanes.com.
