Since opening in the Aliso Viejo Town Center in May, Kaya Street Kitchen has been serving up delectable flavors commonly experienced in Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. Owned and operated by partners Barry Tu and Yuli Miller, the eatery has garnered rave reviews from patrons near and far.
Aliso Viejo is the first Orange County location for the partners who opened up their first location in Los Angeles last year.
“We intended to open a store this year in Orange County and concluded that Aliso Viejo would be a great community for our second location,” Barry said. “We believe the demographics in Aliso Viejo will appreciate the natural and fresh ingredients we use in our food as well as the ‘craveable’ flavors that are found in S.E. Asia. Our concept delivers fresh and delicious food in a customizable setting that we believe a family-oriented community like Aliso Viejo would enjoy.”
Kaya offers a build-your-own concept with customizable Roti tacos, lettuce wraps and bowls.
“Everything is made from scratch, including our Roti, sauces and protein marinates,” Barry said. “We believe in respectfully presenting the traditional flavors of S.E. Asia through innovative means, modern cooking techniques and the best ingredients. We were lucky to find a spot in the Aliso Viejo Town Center surrounded by local businesses. We’re excited to introduce the flavors that we grew up loving and to be a part of the Aliso Viejo community.”
