|Free nutrition classes designed to combat obesity, other health issues
Parents are invited to learn how to help themselves and their families to eat healthier and be more active in free nutrition classes that start March 11.
The "Eat Healthy - Be Active" nutrition classes take place from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday March 11, 18 and March 25 at the Aliso Viejo Family Resource Center located at 24671 Via Iglesia.
Folks will learn how to build a healthy plate; plan healthy meals; shop and cook on a budget; read food labels; and rethink their drinks.
