The City is taking applications for the Community Emergency Preparedness Academy that begins on Tuesday, March 5 and continues through Tuesday, April 16.
 
This free City program provides community outreach to educate residents in emergency preparedness. In the aftermath of a major disaster, residents learn basic skills to save lives and protect property when emergency services are not immediately available.

Classes will be held on consecutive Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. through April 16 at City Hall, which is located at 12 Journey, Suite 100. Dinner will be served before each meeting at 6:00 p.m.
